Baer says the 5k course started at one of the soccer fields at Winter Park and took participants around the park and through some nearby woods. All along the course there were stations where volunteers used colored powder to coat participants as they ran or walked by.
Diana Stewart, owner, and president of EnvirOx – a Danville company – was helping toss the color at one of the stations. She said her company was one of the sponsors for the Color Burst 5k. Stewart explained what her company does….

All the money goes toward the school and a lot of their health and wellness initiatives for the kids.”}
Baer thanked the teachers, volunteers and parents who helped with the event.
