April 22nd through 26th is National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. On Monday the 22nd, two free screenings of the movie “This is Where I Learned Not to Sleep” will be shown, at 11 AM and 1 PM, in the Danville Area Community College Bremer Center Theater. The screenings will be hosted by Vermilion County State’s Attorney Jacqueline Lacy and the Victim Assistance Program.
“This movie is based upon Mark Wynn’s personal experience as a victim and his professional experience as a police officer,” explained State’s Attorney Lacy. “We are hosting the free screening for the community to bring awareness to violence in the home and to bring hope and help to survivors.”
