THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION COUNTY CORONER’S OFFICE RELEASE
Danville, IL- Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden stated that at 9:05 a.m. this morning the body of 23-year-old Jose Alberto Lopez-Fernandez of Champaign, Illinois was recovered from the Middle Fork River by the Vermilion County Sheriff Office and Illinois Conservation Police. He was last seen on Sunday, May 19th in the afternoon at Kickapoo State Park in the river.
