THE FOLLOWING IS A VA ILLIANA HEALTH CARE RELEASE
DANVILLE, Ill. — Thanks to the generosity of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Department of Indiana, VA Illiana Health Care System is set to receive a vehicle donation during a ceremonial key transfer on June 13, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. (CT).
The vehicle, a 2024 Ford Explorer, will also be present at the key transfer. It is outfitted in a custom, full-body DAV wrap that communicates VA and DAV’s shared commitment to those who have served. Upon receipt, the vehicle will enter the fleet of donated vehicles that transported Veterans more than 40,000 miles last year. The vehicle will provide safe, reliable transportation from a home base in Montgomery County, Indiana.
