Arts in the Park is back this weekend in Danville’s Lincoln Park with this year’s new hours: 10 AM to 7 PM Saturday along with 11 to 5 Sunday. Arts in the Park Board president Heather Runyan joined Laura Williams on 1490 WDAN’s Community Connection. Runyan pointed out that Saturday’s schedule, of course, includes something to do with “wheels” and something to do with “artwork.”

We have two contests on Saturday. One’s in the morning, starts at 10:30, and the afternoon contest starts at 1:30.
Runyan says don’t forget that there are loads of different age categories in the sidewalk chalk contests, including for adults.
