During a recent appearance on D102’s The Big Show, Danville Community Relations Administrator Rheanna Ollis, and newly hired Community Relations Coordinator Caleb Bryant, talked about the city’s “You Decide What’s Possible” campaign.
Bryant, who grew up in Bismarck and recently relocated to the area from across the Indiana border, stated that it’s all in front of you, so reach out for it.

And coming home, just being a part of this team and creating more of an atmosphere that people want to be at; and have fun, and live, and play. You know there’s just all kinds of different things that people can take advantage of here in Danville.
Ollis says “You Decide What’s Possible” means exactly what it says. The “you” part means the “people of Danville.” She says a great way to start is to check and see if you are represented by a neighborhood association. And if not, contact the city about starting one.
Audio PlayerAUDIO: I just absolutely love our neighborhood associations. And something that we’re doing to help them out is our Neighborhood Association Matching Grant. This is the very first year we’re doing it. But we’ve set aside money to be able to give back to these smaller sectors of the neighborhood associations. And when they improve their neighborhood, it doesn’t just improve their neighborhood. It improves the overall quality of life in this city.
