Mark your calendars for the second Sunday in July, the 14th. That’s the day the Mosaic City Church will be having a special “Feed the Community Day. Joining us for a moment at Wednesday’s Juneteenth celebration at Temple Plaza; Pastor LeStan Hoskins told us this will be a chance to have breakfast together, have lunch together, and spend the day together. It will all be happening at the Mosaic City Church’s place of worship, the Danville Family YMCA.
Audio PlayerAUDIO: July 14th in the morning; so instead of having a regular church service, we’re going to put our faith in action, and we’re going to serve our community. So we’re going to serve breakfast in the morning, for everybody in the community. It doesn’t matter if you go to church in the morning; or you can just stop by, get some food. And then after that, we’re going to serve lunch. And this is for everybody in the community. Coming together; let’s eat together. And we just want to be a relationship with people, and we want to show the love of Jesus. And so we just want to be a blessing to our community.
Breakfast on Sunday, July 14th will be served from 9:30 to 10:30 AM; and lunch from Noon to 1:30 PM.
