THE FOLLOWING IS AN EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY RELEASE
Danville, IL (July 16, 2024) – Registration is currently open for our 4th Annual Golf Fundraiser Scramble, which benefits East Central Illinois Community Action Agency. This year’s event will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the beautiful Rivercrest Golf Club located at 14 Club House Dr., Covington, Indiana.
The ECICAA was established in 1965 to provide continued services to individuals and families in Ford, Iroquois and Vermilion Counties. Our mission and vision are to move families to attain and experience the power of self-sufficiency through providing information, training, education, and partnership services.
The programs are funded in large part by both state and federal grants. Due to the parameters of the grants, there are those that do not qualify for assistance from these programs and other Agency expenses not covered by the grant dollars. This is where donations and fundraising dollars are needed.
The Golf Fundraiser Scramble serves as one of our primary fundraisers for the Agency. Fees are $75/person, $300/foursome (day of event $85/person, $340/foursome). The Scramble includes golf, cart, lunch, giveaways, and beverages. Prizes awarded for first, second, and third place teams. A basket raffle includes golf accessories, barbeque, and car care.
