July 24: Rainbow Playgroup. Socialization, play, and STEAM activities for toddlers. Wednesdays 10 am – 11 am. Children’s Room.
July 24: Dungeons & Dragons. A tabletop role-playing game that allows teens to quest for treasures and fame, or at the very least hunt enemies. This program is for teens, both those new to the game and those who already know the best way to cleave an orc. New players are always welcome! Wednesdays at 4 pm in the Teen Zone.
July 24: Team STEAM. Activities designed to help students foster creativity and boost critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Wednesdays from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the 1st Floor Meeting Room.
July 24: Wordy Wednesdays. Puzzle lovers, mark your calendars! Every Wednesday, head on up to the 2nd-floor Reference Desk for a variety of word puzzles. Available anytime during our regular business hours.
July 25: Anything Tech for Teens. Introducing teens to some of the library’s cool technology, including 3D Printing, 3D Pens, Sphero Balls, Cricut, and a Flight Simulator. Thursdays at 4:00 pm in the Teen Zone.
July 25: Family Bilingual Storytime. Come join us for stories, songs, and rhymes in Spanish and English. 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM in the Children’s Department.
July 25: Tween 3D Pen Class. Get your tech on while you learn about 3D Pens. Use software to create your own 3D masterpiece! For ages 8-12. 4:30 p.m.
July 27: Hear It, See It, Make It, Take It: Sensory Story Time. Sensory programs are designed for youth of various ability levels including differently-abled youth—Saturdays at 11 am in the Children’s Programming Room.
July 27: Picnic Day. In honor of National Picnic Month, join us outside for a day of reading, lawn games, and, starting at 11 am, free hot dogs (while supplies last)! 9 am – 3 pm on the Library Lawn.
