We are excited to announce our 2024-2025 season with Maestro Matthew Sheppard!
Season tickets will be available to purchase on July 29th. This year’s season package includes the three regular concerts with the option to purchase any of the add-on performances.
Tickets may be purchased on our website at danvillesymphony.org, by visiting the office Mondays-Fridays 1-5 PM, or by calling (217) 443-5300.
DSO Executive Director Kay Welch told Central Illinois Media Group that two special changes this year are an earlier in the day Christmas show, and a special concert for Halloween that will include high school musicians.

AUDIO: Our Christmas program is a matinee. That was something that audience members indicated they were interested in. For the Halloween Spooktacular, we wanted to give the DHS strings students, and really any instrumental students, the opportunity to play side-by-side with the DSO.
That Christmas show is at 2 PM December 8th; the Halloween Spooktacular is at 7:30 PM October 26th. Four of the five shows in the upcoming season will be in the DHS Dick Van Dyke Auditorium; except for the Music of the Heavens program on May 9th, which will be at St. James United Methodist Church.
