DANVILLE – Senator Paul Faraci made a generous donation to the DACC Food Pantry on Wednesday, July 24. The Senator and his Vermilion County office manager, Betty Seidel, were moved to make the donation after seeing the food pantry on a previous visit.
Sen. Faraci told the Foundation staff, “I was impressed with Pantry on my last visit, and the kindness from donors who keep it full of healthy food and other necessities for students. I want to be a part of that effort.”
The DACC Food Pantry is available for current DACC students who might need food for themselves and their families. The Pantry offers a variety of food and hygiene products and is located in Lincoln Hall 224.
DACC Foundation Executive Director Tonya Hill said, “We are so very grateful for the generous kindness and donation given by Senator Faraci. It’s wonderful to have the support of our community leaders.”
