It is once again time for the public auction of Vermilion County delinquent properties. This pertains to real estate properties that were delinquent for 2020, and mobile homes that were delinquent for 2021 and prior real estate taxes.
Vermilion County, as Trustee, will be offering for sale approximately 253 real estate properties and 102 mobile homes. The public auction is Monday evening, August 12th, at VFW Post #728; and bidding will start at $750.00 per item. Auction Manager Kim Wildhaber says you can purchase a catalog of available properties ahead of time if you wish.
AUDIO: You can purchase a catalog at the County Treasurer’s office; and the price for that is $15. Or they can also go to our website, which is www.ILTAXSALE.com, and they can purchase the catalog online. It’s a live auction. You would come to the auction, and you’ll be raising your hand when you’re wanting to bid on the item that you’re interested in. We’ll be starting at the front of the catalog, which is item #1, and go to the end.
Auction proceedings on Monday, August 12th will begin at 6 PM. VFW Post #728 is located at 8 Pine Street in Danville.
