DANVILLE — The Danville Police Department is seeking information from the public regarding a home invasion that took place last week.
Danville police are investigating a home invasion and criminal damage that occurred in the 200 block of Nicklas Street on Thursday. Detectives seek to speak with Leather N. Lipscomb, 38, who was apparently last seen driving a two-tone dark-colored Chevy Silverado.
If anyone knows the whereabouts of Lipscomb, Danville police ask that they contact Vermilion County Crime Stoppers at 217-373-TIPS, vccrimstoppers.org or via the P3 Tips mobile app.
Tipsters are always 100 percent anonymous when contacting Crime Stoppers and receive a code number to check on rewards.
All tips submitted to Crime Stoppers are electronically stripped of any personally identifying information and processed by a third-party answering service.
Tipsters could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and do not have to share their name or appear in court.
Rewards are also paid for information on other felony crimes or fugitives in Vermilion County.
