THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville is applying for a Transportation Enhancement Program grant proposing improvements to the Bike/Pedestrian path along the N bowman Ave from Crestview to Voorhees and along the E Voorhees corridor from Bowman to Michigan Ave. This funding will help create a contiguous multi-use path for pedestrians along this corridor.
If anyone has been on this corridor, there is a visible frequent foot and bike traffic, and these proposed improvements will help create a safe path for those. These improvements will also promote walking/biking for people working /living along the corridor. We are conducting surveys, and a public meeting to get as much public input as possible.

We will be holding a Public meeting on September 12th, 2024 at 5:00 pm in the Public Works Building located at the 1155 E Voorhees St, Danville IL.
