Monday, August 26, 2024- Danville Noon Rotary welcomed State Senator Paul Faraci. The group learned about his journey from small business owner to the State Senate 52nd District. He has been honored to continue the work of Senator Mike Frerichs and the late Senator Scott Bennett. He noted that Scott leaves quite a legacy and being appointed to succeed him was a great honor. Going into his second year in legislature, he noted that the total number of bills introduced was a thousand more than last year. He is an advocate for leveraging federal dollars for those who have disabilities. He strongly supports veterans and first responders by working to provide greater access to mental health resources.
