Monday’s fall-lake Labor Day weather brought out great crowds for the traditional Labor Day parades.

One of the many Danville participants was Laborers Local 703. Ryan Allhands said, no doubt; with the Quaker Oats plant closing that happened in Danville this year, this year’s Labor Day Parade was extremely important; and it was great to have great weather and great crowds.

The Danville Parade stepped off at 9:30 AM; the Westville Parade at 11:30.
