A Marion, Indiana man is facing multiple charges after Westville Police say he allegedly met with a juvenile girl on Saturday (September 1st, 2024). Police say officers were dispatched for a report of a possible domestic violence incident occurring in a vehicle in the 300 block of Moore Street.
Officers discovered a vehicle matching the description in the 300 block of Jules Street shortly after 2:00 p.m. Saturday. And, inside the vehicle, police found a 30-year-old man from Marion, Indiana and a 14-year-old female passenger.
Westville Police say they learned the man had traveled to meet the juvenile to engage in unlawful acts. Police arrested the man on preliminary charges of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse and Traveling to Meet a Minor.
Thirty-year-old A’Jalin Kimble from Marion, Indiana has a 1 PM court date on Tuesday, September 3rd.
Westville Police say they want to thank members of the public who reported the suspicious behavior and acted to keep their community safe. And Westville Police also thanked the Vermilion County Sheriff’s Department for their assistance in this case.
