Danville, IL – September 4, 2024 – The Golden Nugget Casino Danville, in partnership with the Humane Society of Danville, is excited to announce a special “Dog Days of Summer” Community Event, taking place on Friday, September 13 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Golden Nugget Casino Event Tent. The event promises an evening of fun, food, and family-friendly activities, all in support of our furry friends!

· Dog Adoptions: Meet dogs available for adoption from the Humane Society of Danville and find your perfect companion. Fees will be waived on approved applications during the event.
· Food & Fun: Treat your family and friends to an exciting evening with food trucks, booths, and activities focused on supporting pets in need.
· Photo Opportunities: Capture the moment with adoptable dogs and share your photo by tagging the Humane Society of Danville and Golden Nugget Danville for a chance to receive a doggy-goody bag!
· Support for a Cause: Attendees are encouraged to bring donations such as dog and cat food, cat litter, and pet toys to support the Humane Society’s efforts. Make an impact and help give a dog a bone!
