A job fair for Correction Officer Trainee (COT) positions at the Danville Correctional Center is scheduled for this coming Thursday, September 19th, in Second Church of Christ at 3350 East Voorhees.
The Correctional Center’s Kim VanVickle says registration begins early, between 7:30 AM and 8 AM, and proceedings will last throughout the day.
AUDIO: And what you are going to need to bring is; bring a copy of your birth certificate, bring your GED or high school diploma. And you need your driver’s license.
VanVickle says the starting salary for Correction Officer Trainee positions at the Danville Correctional Center is nearly $56,000.
