Danville, Ill. – CRIS Healthy Aging is available to community members who qualify for Medicare to check out the free assistance offered at the agency, and get help throughout the annual enrollment period, Oct. 15 – Dec. 7. Ensuring older residents have the healthcare benefits they need to stay well is a critical part of helping aging community members thrive.
Every year, there are changes in the Medicare enrollment process and drug plan offerings. Cost, coverage, providers and which pharmacies are included in specific networks may change. Whether already using Medicare or signing up for the first time, enrollees should review coverage yearly to ensure the plan meets their changing needs.
“CRIS Healthy Aging can answer your questions and help you make an informed decision, please contact us to schedule an individual appointment and go over your needs,” CRIS Healthy Aging Executive Director Lisa Miller said.
CRIS Senior Information Services caseworkers are Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) certified to assist with understanding coverage choices and ensure everyone who qualifies is signed up for health insurance. These services are at no cost to clients.
Contact CRIS to arrange an appointment during regular business hours 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Vermilion County office, 309 N.
