The Vermilion Regional Airport will be having their TRUNK OR TREAT WITH PILOTS event, starting at 4 PM on Saturday, October 26th. It will all get underway with “Candy with the Pilots” at 4 PM; with other events planned including the Sheriff’s Department Drone Display, the Bismarck Fire Department Touch a Truck, Coloring and Costume Contests, and food vendors are scheduled to be in attendance.
Airport Director Tess Cook says the Participating Pilots will be from a very wide regional area.
AUDIO: We have a couple coming from Bloomington, and a couple coming from Champaign. The Crosswinds Flying Club is going to be here from Bloomington. I think there’s eight instructors and four aircraft coming from Parkland College of Aviation in Champaign. Many of the local pilots; Vermilion County Flying Club will be there as well. They’ll have their aircraft with the skeleton in it again. That’s always a treat for everyone.
This is a free event; donations are welcome. By the way, there will be non-food treats for the children that have food allergies and cannot eat what the vendors have.
