This coming weekend is the “weekend before Halloween,” and if you are looking for an event for “trick-or-treating” aged kids and their families; one stop could be the BOO BASH at Lincoln Park’s FRIENDLY TOWN; 5 to 7 PM this coming Saturday, October 26th. Police Chief Christopher Yates says the seed for this was planted over the summer; during all the rebuilding work at Friendly Town.
AUDIO: Actually, this was brought up from some people within the group that were with that Operation Restore Friendly Town. Well, if we can continue with bringing different ideas, bringing something new; and if it’s something we can do, let’s go for it.

Chief Yates says there will be lots of stops along the Friendly Town roads.
AUDIO: There’s going to be about 22-plus booths, as well as the structures that are already there; where kids can go through and do their trick-or-treating. There’s going to be a lot of games, and volunteers helping out.
This is a free Halloween event for Danville, Vermilion County, and surrounding area families.
