THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
Due to potential life and safety hazards, emergency removal of the front wall of 129 N. Vermilion Street will be performed beginning Wednesday, October 30, 2024, and is expected to be completed within one day. This will remove the immediate safety hazard, and a full demolition of the building will be planned and scheduled in the future.
During this time, to avoid unnecessary delays and hazards, we encourage pedestrians and motorists to avoid the area.
