Description of Structure/Property: Two-story, wood-frame, Residential (vacant)
Alarm Location/Address: 113 Elmwood
Description of Incident:
The Danville Fire Department was called to 113 Elmwood for a fully involved structure fire. Crews arrived to find heavy fire at the rear of the structure with smoke and flames also coming from the second-floor windows and from the roof and eaves. The structure was a vacant/abandoned residential building that had been empty and boarded up for over 10 years and had no active utilities.
Danville Fire Investigators currently have the cause of this fire listed as incendiary.
