THE FOLLOWING IS A CRIS HEALTH AGING CENTER RELEASE
Danville, Ill. – CRIS Healthy Aging is partnering with Land of Lincoln Legal Aid so those 60 years of age and older may obtain free legal assistance for healthcare and property power of attorney documents on Nov. 15 at CRIS Healthy Aging, 309 N Franklin St, Danville.
Registration is required by November 4. Those interested in attending can register by calling Jenna at Land of Lincoln, (217) 356-1351, or signing up online at Vermilion County POA Day (office.com). Paper registration forms also are available at CRIS Healthy Aging.
On November 15, Individuals are asked to bring a government-issued photo ID and they will leave with a power of attorney document for healthcare and/or a power of attorney document for property. Those named as agents of each document do not need to be present.
CRIS Healthy Aging is a non-profit and part of Community Health initiatives at Carle Health. The CRIS Healthy Aging mission is to keep older adults safe, healthy, and independent in their own homes for as long as possible.
