FESTIVAL OF TREES REMINDER: Downtown Danville Lighting Ceremony is Saturday, November 9th; 5 – 6 PM at Temple Plaza

THE FOLLOWING IS A FESTIVAL OF TREES RELEASE

 

In partnership with the City of Danville, Festival of Trees would like to announce an opportunity for patrons to help light up the downtown and then join us at the Festival of Trees, all while helping those among us in the community in a time of need.
The City of Danville will be hosting their Downtown Danville Lighting Ceremony on Saturday November 9, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM with the lighting of the downtown holiday lights at 5:30 PM.
Enjoy the light display, hot chocolate and even Santa AND THEN join us at the Festival of Trees and the Palmer Arena with free admission from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM with the contribution of two food items per person, adults – age 3 (cans, boxes, etc.) to benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry at Holy Family Church. Come and enjoy two great community events all while helping a wonderful local organization. See you downtown on Saturday and let the holidays begin!

Join us for a magical evening at the Downtown Danville Lighting Ceremony! Celebrate the start of the holiday season on November 9th from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Temple Plaza. Experience the joy as all the festive lights illuminate our charming downtown at 5:30 PM!

Bring the whole family to enjoy free hot chocolate while mingling with neighbors and friends.  And don’t miss your chance to meet Santa! He’ll be available for pictures, so be sure to bring your holiday spirit and your camera!

Gather around as we countdown to the big moment when the lights shine bright, creating a dazzling display that will warm your hearts all season on November 9th from 5:00 – 6:00 PM!
