DANVILLE — Two adults reportedly threatened three Danville middle school students at a bus stop Wednesday morning, flashing a weapon before police arrived, Superintendent Alicia Geddis said in a letter to families.
“At this time, the (North Ridge Middle School) students are safe and no one was harmed,” Geddis wrote. “Supportive services will be offered to the students who were threatened.”
In addition to witnesses who came forward, Danville police and school district officials are seeking the public’s help.
Anyone with knowledge about the incident, which happened before school Wednesday, is urged to call the Danville Police Department at 217-431-2250 or the main office of North Ridge Middle School at 217-444-3400.
