Danville Police and the Vermilion County Coroner’s Office have identified 33 and 17 year old males who lost their lives in a Wednesday afternoon shooting incident in a Danville barber shop at 1911 East Main Street. 33-year-old Keith G. Stone and an unnamed 17-year-old juvenile both lost their lives after being shot at A+ Cutz on East Main Street on the day before Thanksgiving; Wednesday afternoon, November 27th. Police have stated that a third shooting victim had been released from the hospital.
Police are asking for help from the public as the investigation into the shooting continues. A release Friday evening, November 29th from the Danville Police stated “The Danville Police Department continues to work with leads and gather further evidence. The need for the public and community to reach out with information about this incident is imperative. Much information has been gathered through courageous members of our community speaking out.
