Danville, IL- The Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden has identified the victim of a shooting that occurred on Sunday late afternoon, December 8, 2024, on 2nd Avenue in Danville as 38-year-old Eric C. Bell of Danville.
Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden stated that Mr. Bell’s family has been notified. An autopsy is to be conducted later today. The Vermilion County Sheriff’s Department and the Vermilion County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate.
