The Bismarck Fire Department was assisted by the Lynch, Kickapoo, and Tilton Departments in battling a late Wednesday (Dec 11th) afternoon fire; in the 3700 block of Tuttle Street, west of Vermilion on the far north side of Danville within Bismarck’s district.
The garage of the house was completely destroyed, and Bismarck Chief Eric Johnson said during clean up efforts after the flames were out that details were still being worked out.
AUDIO: It appears that it started in the garage, but obviously that’s all still pending investigation here; trying to get it all cleared out so hopefully we can pinpoint where the origin might have been.
Johnson estimated that the alarm was received prior to 4 PM. He said no one was in the house when firefighters arrived.
