This is our 18th year participating in this program, and we have increased our wreath count every year.
Specially designated wreaths for the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine, and POW/MIA, PTSD, Agent orange, and the Scott Bennett memorial wreath for disabled veterans. This ceremony will be coordinated simultaneously at over 4,200+ participating locations all across the Country.
Currently we have 4,404 wreaths. There are 11,816 currently interred at Danville National Cemetery. So help is needed for fundraising for 2025. Our goal is to cover the whole cemetery with wreaths
In 2023 over 3 million wreaths were placed nationwide, by over 3 million volunteers, with one third of them children, as part of the Wreaths Across America mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach.
Wreaths across America TM (WAA) is a national nonprofit organization founded in 2007 to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery begun by Maine businessman, Morrill Worcester, in 1992
