DANVILLE — Vermilion County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects in a retail theft.
On Dec. 4, a White man and White woman entered Walmart in Danville and left the business with several items without paying for them.
Anyone who can identify either suspect caught in security camera footage is encouraged to contact Vermilion County Crime Stoppers at 217-373-TIPS, vccrimstoppers.org or via the P3 Tips mobile app.
Tipsters are always 100 percent anonymous when contacting Crime Stoppers and receive a code number to check on rewards.
All tips submitted to Crime Stoppers are electronically stripped of any personally identifying information and processed by a third-party answering service.
Tipsters could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and do not have to share their name or appear in court.
Rewards are also paid for information on other felony crimes or fugitives in Vermilion County.
