Walter H. “Chip” Hasselbring III, CEO of Iroquois Federal has announced that Jerry Askren and Emily Duncan will be working together with T.J. Morris, EVP- Danville Community President and Chief Lending Officer, to oversee the Iroquois Federal Danville banking office. Askren and Duncan will also continue helping customers in our Danville office with their lending needs.
Jerry Askren, Vice President and Branch Manager, brings over 25 years of banking experience to his enhanced role, including six years as Vice President- Ag/Commercial Loan Officer at Iroquois Federal. Askren is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. He is a respected member of the local community as he is actively involved in various organizations such as: Olive Branch Lodge, Valley of Danville Scottish Masons, Vermilion County Farm Bureau Foundation, The Children’s Dyslexia Center of East Central Illinois, Blount Township Supervisor, and the University of Illinois Alumni Association.
Emily Duncan, Assistant Vice President and Assistant Branch Manager, is also a graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Marketing. Prior to her new role, Duncan has four years of lending experience at Iroquois Federal, serving most recently as Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer. Duncan is another prominent member of the Danville area community, as she is actively engaged in a wide variety of civic organizations. Her involvement includes active participation in Danville Noon Rotary (Immediate Past President) and Danville Noon Kiwanis (Secretary & Treasurer). She is also on committees for Danville Family YMCA, Balloons Over Vermilion, and Festival of Trees.
