The Salt Fork Storm are the 2025 Vermilion County Girls High School Basketball Tournament champions as they defeated Hoopeston Area by a final score of 39-25.
Salt Fork was led in scoring by Alexa Jamison with 20 points. Hoopeston Area was led in scoring by Brylie Cox with 13 points.
Earlier in the night in the 3rd place game the Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils defeated the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes 39-37.
In the 5th place game it was the Armstrong-Potomac Trojans over the Oakwood Comets 52-42.

The Vermilion County Boys High School Basketball Tournament finals will take place Saturday night (January 25th) at the Mary Miller Complex at DACC.
The 5th place game will be at 5pm as Oakwood battles Armstrong-Potomac.
The 3rd place game at 6:30pm will feature Salt Fork Storm against Hoopeston Area.
Then at 8pm, it’s the Championship game as Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin takes on Westville.
