THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
In an effort to keep our citizens better informed and engaged with what’s happening in the City of Danville, we’re excited to introduce the City Council Digest. This summary provides a concise recap of important topics discussed during City Council meetings, including those “hot button” issues that are on many people’s minds. Our goal is to ensure everyone feels connected and informed about decisions happening in our City.
The digests will be available on Thursdays following full City Council meetings. For example, the digest for the City Council meeting held on Tuesday, January 21, was posted on Thursday, January 23. These recaps will be posted on our Facebook page, The City of Danville, IL.
While the digest may not cover every topic, full meeting minutes and audio recordings can be found on our website at https://www.cityofdanville.org/AgendaCenter.
Information from the Public Service and Public Works Committees is also available.
We welcome public input and value transparency. While our social media accounts are monitored, we do not delete comments or posts. To share your thoughts, concerns, or suggestions directly with the Mayor, Aldermen, or leadership team, we encourage you to attend council meetings or contact us directly.
