THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
Danville, January 31, 2024 –
The City of Danville’s GIS staff in the Information Technology Division have been working diligently to release the brand-new Report It Center for Information. These exciting updates will go live on February 1st, providing an improved platform for reporting issues like code violations, potholes, damage to parks, and other concerns that require attention from city departments.
To access this new Report It site, visit the City of Danville homepage at www.cityofdanville.org and click “Report a Problem” or simply download the City of Danville app from the App Store or Google Play.
Key improvements include the ability to track reported issues and monitor their resolution status. For example, when a pothole is reported, users will be able to see when the City has reviewed the issue and whether it has been addressed, offering greater transparency.
Report It is a valuable tool for both residents and City departments, helping to resolve concerns more efficiently. Issues reported online receive the same level of attention as those called in. For those who prefer not to use the online system, city staff are available to assist with reporting over the phone or can guide users through the process.
If you’re unsure where to report a particular issue, we encourage you to check the Frequently Asked Questions section of the Report It Center for Information. This resource provides helpful contact information for issues that may fall under other agencies’ responsibility, such as Ameren or Aqua.
We’re excited to offer these improvements and are committed to addressing the needs of our community in a timely and effective manner
