THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE NOON ROTARY RELEASE
ABOVE: Michael Kasper presents to the Noon Rotary on his experiences
Monday, February 3, 2025- Danville Noon Rotary welcomed ultramarathon runner, author, and local history fanatic Michael Kasper. A Schlarman high school graduate, Michael has been documenting the many perspectives of his daily runs in Danville on his Instagram account @rundanville. His photography inspired him to take his ability to share the rich history of Danville by writing a book. He has spent countless hours conducting research at the Vermilion County Museum, Danville Public Library, Illiana Genealogical and Historical Society and learning from local residents. It is a work in progress and details on its release will be available at www.rundanville.com.

Michael recently ran across the state of Illinois to help raise money for mental health programs. His personal mantra is to create, iterate and evolve and he certainly is an example of what can be accomplished with great big goals and a whole lot of discipline.
The next meeting will be Monday, March 3 at WorkSource Enterprises at 12 pm with Rick Rotramel presenting Rotary’s monetary gifts to the War Museum, Veteran’s Administration, Post 210 and the DACC Foundation. Danville Noon Rotary would like to welcome everyone!
