THE FOLLOWING IS AN EPILEPSY ADVOCACY NETWORK RELEASE
Champaign, IL, March 2025: 1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy during their lifetime. This event is a perfect time to bring epilepsy visibility and education to the forefront. Epilepsy Advocacy Network (EAN) invites the Champaign area to participate in the Epilepsy Education Conference.
The Epilepsy Education Conference will be held at The I Hotel in Champaign on March 29th, beginning at 11:00 AM. This conference is open to patients, caregivers, and families impacted by epilepsy. It is also beneficial to students and workers in the healthcare field along with community members who want to educate themselves and support those with epilepsy. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Lunch will be provided.

Topics for this conference include intractable epilepsy and alternative treatment options, the latest epilepsy medications, surgical options for epilepsy, epilepsy and mental health, a panel on the community impact of epilepsy, and much more.
If you know someone who has epilepsy, we welcome you to refer them to EAN’s services. We provide individualized case management, support groups, and epilepsy self-management programs. We believe that no one should have to go through their epilepsy journey alone.
