A burning ban has been issued for the City of Danville and will be in effect today at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 14, 2025.
The burn ban will remain in effect until Monday, March 17, 2025.
The burn ban does not apply to charcoal or gas grills used for cooking, although extra safety precautions should be taken.
Strong gusty winds are expected to arrive this afternoon and will persist through the weekend.
