Second year Custard Cup owner Andrew Seibert and his team are reopening for the season on Monday, March 17th. Seibert says he cannot be sure how many times Custard Cup has reopened on St. Patrick’s Day, but he reminded us that it’s usually right around there.
Audio PlayerAUDIO: We’ve historically opened the third Friday of March. So, I think they have been open on St. Patrick’s Day in the past. Steve: What made you decide for sure “that’s when we’re doing it this year.” The second Friday felt too early, the third Friday is not until the 21st, that felt really late. So I looked at the calendar, saw St. Patrick’s Day, and thought, “Let’s go for it.”

Seibert says spring hours will be Monday through Thursday 1 to 8 PM; 1 to 9 PM Friday and Saturday. He says that in May they will expand to their summer hours of opening at noon, and opening a little later on the weekend.
