UPDATE: THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION COUNTY CORONER’S OFFICE RELEASE
Danville, IL- The Vermilion County Coroner, Jane McFadden stated that a motor vehicle accident involving three Semi Tractors and an SUV at mile marker 215 eastbound on I-74 last evening resulted in the death of 56 year-old Brett W. Wagner, of Avon, Indiana.
Mr. Wagner’s family has been notified and an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow. The Illinois State Police and the Vermilion County Coroner’s office continue to investigate

Illinois State Police, Vermillion County SO and local EMS are on the scene of a traffic crash on I-74 eastbound at milepost 215. Traffic is stopped in this location and is being diverted around the crash area utilizing the ramp in this location. Please Use Caution or find an alternate route in this area as traffic will be slowed or stopped. We are expecting this traffic pattern will be in effect for several hours. Updates will be provided as warranted.
