DANVILLE — As part of the Danville Public Library’s 30th anniversary celebration of its current building, prom-goers will be selecting just the right outfits on Saturday.
The library collected more than 100 prom dresses for Saturday’s “Clueless and Cocktails” event. The event celebrates the spirit of giving and fashion, key components of the 1995 movie “Clueless.”
Local prom-goers can pick out dresses, suits and accessories for free while enjoying mocktails. The evening portion of the event will feature a discussion of the book “Emma,” which inspired “Clueless,” an optional craft to make one feel like a total Betty, and a “Clueless” movie showing complete with themed cocktails (for those over 21) and treats.
