DANVILLE — Former Human Relations Administrator Sandra Finch said the outpouring of support for her and all she did for the city and residents for almost 35 years warms her heart.
“It has been overwhelmingly appreciated because the community, the people I have worked with, know that,” Finch said. “I represented the city very well. I did my job. And that’s why I’m receiving so much support of what I did as being the human relations administrator.”
Finch said for Danville Mayor Rickey Williams Jr. “to come up with this bogus reasoning to terminate me. It’s unbelievable that mayor did that.”
She said for 34 and half years, she represented the city and spoke on behalf of the city and was a voice of the citizens.
