DANVILLE — The fifth annual Central Illinois Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) College Fair on Thursday at Danville High School helped make connections for students and was sponsored by the Jelani Day Foundation to honor Day’s memory.
High school junior Victor Jones, who served as DJ for the event, wants to get into music engineering or urban design and urban engineering after high school. He’s been DJing for about four years, and the 17-year-old is also involved in track.
Aariyjah Dye, also a junior, wants to be an X-ray technician after high school. She’s exploring her college options.
