An overflow crowd of cars and people were in attendance during the noon hour for Friday’s (April 4th) ribbon cutting at Danville’s new Longview Bank on North Vermilion.

Branch Manager Neeley Jessup, speaking in a very crowded lobby, said she was glad Longview could add this branch to the one nearby in Tilton.

The Tilton location is 1619 Georgetown Road. Just prior to the ribbon cutting, Danville’s Mayor Rickey Williams, Jr talked about being a bit jealous seeing a Longview branch go up in Tilton, and is very happy to now have one in Danville as well.
