DANVILLE — The Danville school board is expected to act this week on a motion to consider a settlement agreement with former Superintendent Alicia Geddis.
Its regular meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Board member Darlene Halloran said recently that the board continued to look at a proposal but that there were still some concerns.
Halloran said the board will only agree to something that is “mostly right.” She wouldn’t comment on any details of the proposed agreement.
District officials have said that a settlement would be paid using money from a tort fund for litigation, not from educational funding. The amount was not disclosed.
