DANVILLE — After what looked like a promising fresh start for the 2024-2025 Danville Dashers hockey team — a new logo and hopes for the season — David S. Palmer Arena officials on Tuesday announced the departure of the team, effective immediately.
“The Dashers have been an integral part of the arena’s sports programming, bringing excitement and community spirit to Danville. Their presence has been marked by numerous memorable games and events, including their celebrated league championship in 2017,” a statement read.
