THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE AREA COMMUNITY COLLEGE RELEASE
Danville, IL – The Danville Area Community College (DACC) Cheerleading team brought the energy, spirit, and determination to the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida, earning national recognition for their performance.
Competing in the Intermediate Small Coed Junior College division, the Jaguars made a powerful impression during Day 1 preliminaries, securing a Top 3 national ranking. After an outstanding finals performance, they proudly finished 4th in the nation, marking a significant leap forward from the previous year.
Head Coach Sharda Pascal expressed immense pride in her team’s growth:
“I’m extremely happy with the improvements this team has made from last year to this year. Their dedication, heart, and drive were on full display on the mat in Daytona. My coaching staff this season included Abby Goble, David Xiong, Tori Aguirre and Tatum Sharpf. This is just the beginning for DACC Cheerleading.”
The Jaguars continue to build a legacy of excellence and are already looking ahead to next season.
