DANVILLE — Vermilion County Board Chair Steve Miller said there are “rightful” concerns in the community about records left in the former courthouse annex that were scattered around downtown during the ongoing demolition of the building, which started Thursday.
“We’re still trying to get our hands on all the facts,” Miller said at Tuesday night’s board meeting, adding that the board doesn’t want to rush to judgment.
He said the incident constitutes an unintentional release of information, and the county is looking at mitigating any damages.
