Danville, April 17, 2025 – The City of Danville, in partnership with Place Foundry, has initiated the development of a Comprehensive Plan to guide the city’s future growth, development, and long-term investment over the next 20 years. This plan will serve as a strategic framework for decision-making in key areas such as housing, land use, economic development, infrastructure, transportation, parks and recreation, environmental sustainability, and overall quality of life.
As part of this effort, the City is launching a public engagement phase to gather input and encourage active participation from community members. Place Foundry, a planning and development partner with expertise in civic engagement, will lead the facilitation of these sessions and the development of the final Comprehensive Plan.
Community engagement is a central component of the planning process. All residents, business owners, and stakeholders are encouraged to share their perspectives, ideas, and priorities. The planning process is structured to ensure that a wide range of voices contribute to shaping a shared vision for Danville’s future.
